1sts and T-birds both in action!!

This weekend sees the final action of the 2018-2019 season for both the 1st XV and the T-birds.

The 1sts welcome Title chasing Sevenoaks to Oakfield in a game that is set to be a cracker whilst the T-birds will battle it out with Hove in the Championship Final on Sunday at Stourbridge.

Thurrocks men will be looking to ruin the Sevenoaks party as well as celebrating their own successful season having secured 5th position with their victory over Cobham last weekend. This season has been a stark contrast to last season's relegation battle and full credit must go to the squad as well as Head Coach Martin Jones who has seen the team settle down after a tough start to the season.

The boys will be looking to finish the season in style as the go into the game on the back of a 7 game winning run. There have been a few changes made to the side this week with ever present Charlie Russo missing his 1st game of the season having started every game so far due to a family wedding. There are 5 further changes to the side that beat Cobham with Captain Reece Durrance, Tom Pool & Caolan Watts-Adams all out injured. Darryl Worster & Jake Bedding return to the backline following a rest week last weekend for the pair.

With Durrance and Russo both absent, stalwart Dan Carey will lead the side out in front of an expected big crowd.
