1sts beat Hove whilst 2nds & 4ths bring home the Silverware on Finals day

Saturday was a successful day for the club as the 1sts, 2nds & 4ths were all victorious.

The day kicked off with the presentation of the '100' cap with current players Dan Carey, Darryl Worster, Tani Loka & Ben Stanley amongst this year's crop of recipients.

On the field, the 1st XV played out an enthralling game against bottom of the league Hove, in front of a huge crowd boosted by over 100 former players including over 30 former Club Captains.

Hove's performance belied their lowly league performance and like T's, had secured a Bonus point before half time with T's eventually dominating the scoreline and running out winners by 80-31. Henry Bird grabbed himself a Hatrick of tries along with 2 conversions, whilst Caolan Watts-Adams & Joss Nunn both grabbed a brace each. Other scores came from Darryl Worster, Dan Stone, Man of the match, Sam Stanley who also added 8 conversions and there were first ever Thurrock tries for Ryan Wilkins & Rob Murphy to help T's cement their position at 5th in London 1 South.

The 2nds travelled to Bancroft for the Merit League Finals day to face off against Rochford who they had beating twice already this season in 2 very tight games. The final again would go T's way as they ran out winners 34-21. Phil Kemp grabbed a Hatrick with other scores coming from Dan Ulph & Ant Catchpole. Matt Siddle added 1 conversion while James Millsom added 2 conversions & a penalty to bring the Division 1 Plate back to Oakfield.

The 4ths had started the day off for T's having kicked off their Division 6 Bowl Final against Witham II at 12pm. They ran away in the final winning 42-10. The 6 tries were scored by Andy Thomas, Marc Minter, Tolu Ige, Rees Collins, Andy McAllister and Nathan Dine with young Harry Millsom adding all six conversions.
