Old foes and newly promoted National 2 side, Westcliff are this weekends opponents for Thurrock as Pre Season preparations for both sides are in full swing. Kick off is at 2pm at Oakfield which will be followed by England v Ireland on the Big Screen in the club.

This will be Thurrocks 2nd Pre Season game following last weekends match against Sudbury in what was a great test for the squad with Ts winning 24-19.

The 2nd XV started their pre season with a hard fought defeat to Harlow's 1st XV on Thursday evening, going down eventually 28-26.
