4 Senior teams in action this weekend

Thurrock have 4 teams in action this weekend with the 1sts, 2nds, Mongrels & T-Birds all playing.

The 1sts welcome title chasing Brighton to Oakfield on Saturday on the back of 2 victories against Dartfordians and Chichester in their last 2 games with kick off at 3pm. Head Coach Martin Jones has made 3 changes to the starting XV with Caolan Watts-Adams returning in place of the injured Brad Retigan, making his first appearance since November following his own injury layoff. The other change in the forwards see Joss Nunn return in place of Rob Murphy in the back row. One change in the backs, sees Darryl Worster return at fullback having missed the Chichester game through illness. Jake Barrand also makes a timely return from injury as he takes a place amongst the substitutes alongside Club Captain Reece Durrance.

The 2nds are also at home as they welcome local rivals Brentwood who are sitting pretty at the top of their league with kick off also at 3pm.

The final game on Saturday sees the Mongrels 'A' side travel to Face Brentwood III.

Then on Sunday, the T-Birds play their 2nd cup game as they welcome the 2nd placed side from the Championship North, Lichfield. The Ladies got off to a great start last weekend with an 87-7 victory against Novocastrians and will be looking to build on that win on Sunday.
