U7s vs Westcliff RFC

The U7s had a great experience playing in their first home match of the season, which for many players from both teams will have been their first ever proper matches of Tag Rugby.

Westcliff brought strong numbers down with 4 teams against our 2. Each of our teams played 4 short games and did brilliantly in them all. Our teams are quickly picking up the rules and basic principles and there was plenty of good rugby to be seen, and lots of happy faces. Lots of first tries, lots of excellent tagging and a good inter-club game of Bulldog at the end with Westcliff too.

Was very proud that the Westcliff coaches were extremely complimentary about the attitude of our kids and thanked us for giving their team an excellent first game experience too.

Stars of the Day: Rose Holding - Rose did brilliantly getting so many tags in her first match and bravely playing on despite some sore feet!
